Just when I think being a photographer is mildly important to mankind and humanity, I meet this embryologist while on a shoot who makes me and my profession seem highly insignificant. Ric Ross basically spends a normal day at the office creating life. He takes a single sperm, did I mention he has steady hands, and implants it into an egg, thus starting the miracle we call life. Not only once a day, but maybe hundreds of times. If I did this everyday, I'd have to change my name to Hesus. The funny part is he was raised as a cattle farmer and used to impregnate cows through this method, now he's doing it for wealthy La Jollans. Kind of the same thing I guess.
