Shot a portrait for the NY Times today with very little info on the subject(as usual)except that he was a POW who was shot down during the first Gulf War-a la John McCain style. I suppose any story about a guy taken hostage is not gonna be too happy so I chose to make the series look kinda dark. I also thought the shadow lines from the blinds might give a subconscious prison look. Too cheesy? I don't know?
