A Shooter's Paradise

Having a blast shooting the San Diego County Fair this year. It's such a photographer's paradise. It's like being a kid in a candy store. You have all these various kinds of people of all different ages, shapes, sizes, colors, city and country, etc...that all converge in one area for a good time. I also like seeing the best of what our community has to offer from the animal competitions to best beer, bands and collectibles, etc.... Lump all that in with rides and lots of color and it's paradise.

As a photographer, there are literally infinite numbers of ways to shoot a gathering such as this, I personally like to explore composition, human interaction along with color, light and action. There are so many people crammed into one area with so much going on that is can almost be overwhelming. It's a visual exercise to put all that into one frame. The hardest part is simplifying it. Also staying away from the corn dogs and funnel cakes and that Fried Butter.
