Analyst

I always bring my portable strobes on portrait assignments thinking I’m going to set up an elaborate outdoor studio like I’m shooting for ESPN Magazine. Fort some reason, my alter ego seems to always find a beautifully, naturally lit location. I do enjoy working with available light but admit I have a bit of guilt(like I’m lazy or something) when I don’t use strobes. One thing I learned from a photo professor in College is that just because a shot is “easy” doesn’t mean it is necessarily a weaker image that a “harder” photo. Just a thought.
