As a visual observer, it is always a happy time as well as a bit tense to see families re-unite and re-aquaint after long deployments to Iraq. How do you come home after shooting at and being shot at on a daily basis? I can't imagine a situation where a human can go from such a high level of adrenaline to the nice comforts of home within a days period. I would think this rush would become somewhat of an addiction. Damn, if I don't see one of my shots in print at least once a week, I go ape-shit. I also have to give props to the spouses that are holding down the fort at home, all the while wondering if they will get that dreaded call.
