I'm going to change my business slogan to "Sandy Huffaker Photography: Give me a window and I'll make you a picture you can publish" This was one of those biz assignments from hell. The subject had no personality, didn't really want to pose for a photo, and had an office with no pictures, paintings, and everyone was either out to lunch or had been recently laid-off(The story was about how Law firms are having to do lay-off's due to the economy. That's where the trusty window-in-the-lobby always comes in handy. It provides the necessary mood light, gives us a reflection when needed, and gives nice contrast so as not to look too sterile. As a photographer, sometimes you need a few tricks up the sleeve to make an image sing.
