Fires are kind of like a corrupt government. They pilidge certain peoples homes and properties in search of fuel to keep the system running while sparing just enough to not decimate a whole village. This government usually takes more than it needs and shows no remorse. The only difference is a fire does not discriminate. It likes black, white, brown yellow, anybody! These images are from the fires in La and Orange County last week which swept through areas of Yorba Linda, Diamond Bar and Montecito. I'm always on the look-out for photos that transcend the normal "firefighter putting out flames shot". I was also shooting in conjunction with David Mcnew, who is probably the finest fire shooter around. Anyhoo, thanks for stopping by.
