Had a nice time meeting and photographing Hilary Swank while on assignment at Legoland. What cool, level-headed celeb. She was very comfortable with herself and just as laid back as can be. I always find that there are 2 different persona with movie stars. If you approach them like a fan and gush all over them, typically you will get iced. That means you fall into the crazy fan category that is consumed with celebrity culture and basically they do not look at that person as human, but as someone you have put on some kind of other-worldly pedestal. If you approach them like anyone else and stay clear of asking any work related comments(i.e" how's that Chad Lowe thing going") you'll most likely get a cool, real person. BTW, in case you're wondering, the kid is her step-son Sam.
